Counselor's Corner - Elementary

Hello! My name is Annie Harbert, and I am the

Elementary School Counselor at Multnomah Learning Academy.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oregon State University, my Master’s Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, and my School Counseling Certificate from Gwynedd Mercy University.

Before joining MLA, I worked as a community mental health

therapist supporting students from preschool through 12th grade.

As the school counselor, I provide academic, social-emotional,

and behavioral support for students while partnering with families, teachers, and community resources to help every child succeed. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all students feel safe, valued, and

empowered to reach their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy paddle boarding, skiing, and spending time with my dog. I am grateful to be part of the MLA community and proud to be a Meerkat! 💙💚
