About Mr. Smith
This is my first year at MLA, but I have been teaching and working in schools for many years. I have lived and taught in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Japan, and Qatar. I love learning languages! I speak Japanese, a little Russian, Spanish, and Arabic.
My wife and I have two teenage daughters. I like to play guitar and banjo with my friends. Other passions of mine include playing tennis, cooking, reading, and mountain biking.
