Oregon State Testing Notice
The State Testing window opens in April. Statewide assessments provide Oregon educators and administrators with one source of information about what educational approaches are working and where additional resources may be needed. Your child’s participation is important to ensure schools and districts identify the areas in which they are meeting students’ overall needs, as well as to identify areas of growth.
There is an option to opt out of testing for your student. If you are interested, submit the OSAS Opt-Out Form for 2024 by spring conferences in March, before spring break. Printed forms are available in school offices.
