Dear MLA Middle Students and Families,
The community around MLA has experienced a substantial increase in Covid cases and symptomatic staff and students that have resulted in several positive cases in the past couple of weeks. This resulted in several middle school staff absences this week. Due to a staffing shortage, MLA Middle will be closed Thursday, May 26, 2022. We hope this will give our staff the opportunity to heal and come back healthy on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. We appreciate your understanding as we care for our staff and students during this time.
On Thursday, May 26, 2022 MLA Elementary will remain open for grades K-5. Due to the increased COVID spread in our community it is recommended that students wear masks indoors to reduce their likelihood of contracting COVID or other illnesses that are spreading in our community. If your child becomes ill with any symptoms, please keep them home and reach out to the COVID contact team at [email protected]. Thank you for helping to keep our staff and students safe and healthy.
