MLA 8th Grade Promotion Drive-Thru Celebration

8th grade families!

Can you believe this is the year that your 8th grade students are promoting onto high school already?! Although it's an odd year and not how we'd normally be able to do an 8th grade promotion, we're still planning a fun end of middle school event for your students!

On Wednesday, June 9th on their last day of school, we will be doing a drive thru style promotion from 6:00p-7:30p.

A sneak preview of the event:
Drive thru and see all of the middle school staff cheering on and celebrating your amazing students! Music will be playing outside and we HIGHLY suggest decorating your car so we know who your student is when you pull thru!
A chance for your student to walk across a stage and receive their promotion certificate and a bucket full of goodies from all of us here at MLA!
Yearbooks will also be handed out (purchase not necessary as PTO is providing these as a gift to all students)!
A photo opportunity with Mr. Price and Mr. Munoz with your student!
Your students are the ones who have helped us create this and are heavily involved in their 8th grade promotion event! We are excited to support them and their ideas in a fun way to end this crazy year!

We hope you will load up a car with your family and come help us celebrate your student! More details are to come with a drive thru map and guidelines that must be followed per the State guidelines.

¡Familias de octavo grado!

¡¿Puedes creer que este es el año en el que tus estudiantes de octavo grado están ascendiendo a la escuela secundaria ya ?! Aunque es un año extraño y no es la forma en que normalmente podríamos hacer una promoción de octavo grado, ¡todavía estamos planeando un evento divertido de fin de escuela secundaria para sus estudiantes!

El miércoles 9 de junio en su último día de clases, estaremos haciendo una promoción de estilo drive thru de 6:00p-7: 30p.

Un adelanto del evento:
¡Conduzca y vea a todo el personal de la escuela intermedia animando y celebrando a sus increíbles estudiantes! La música estará sonando afuera y sugerimos ENCARECIDAMENTE decorar su automóvil para que sepamos quién es su estudiante cuando llegue!
Una oportunidad para que su estudiante camine por un escenario y reciba su certificado de promoción y un balde lleno de golosinas de todos nosotros aquí. en MLA!
Los anuarios también serán entregados (no es necesario comprarlos ya que el PTO los está proporcionando como un regalo a todos los estudiantes)
¡Una oportunidad para tomar una foto con el Sr. Price y el Sr. Munoz con su estudiante!
Sus estudiantes son los que nos han ayudado ¡crean esto y están muy involucrados en su evento de promoción de octavo grado! ¡Estamos emocionados de apoyarlos y apoyar sus ideas de una manera divertida para terminar este año loco!

¡Esperamos que cargue un auto con su familia y nos ayude a celebrar a su estudiante! Más detalles vendrán con un mapa de drive thru y pautas que deben seguirse de acuerdo con las pautas estatales.
